This is a course about movies and business and American history.
It meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:00 in Kauke Hall 244.
It is taught by Professor Jeff Roche.
It is designed to teach students how to use film as a primary source, a useful tool for the cultural historian.
students will learn not only how to contextualize films, but also the basics of film analysis.
It is also meant to teach an interpretative history of the twentieth-century United States.
